I worked closely with the occupational therapist in the NHS Mental Health Trust.
I have worked in this field for the NHS for 29 years. I collaborated closely with the NHS Mental Health Trust occupational therapist to deliver adequate support. I led groups in Art, Current Affairs discussions, Relaxation sessions, and one-to-one therapeutic interventions, empowering our clients to define and pursue their own goals. With 29 years of experience in this field within the NHS, I bring a wealth of knowledge and expertise to my work.
Before this, I spent a total of 17 years with the Ministry of Defence, helping families move and settle into their accommodation, and spent time as an active member of the Royal Air Force Regiment reserve.

I am a fully qualified Clinical Hypnotherapist with over 20 years of experience in hypnosis and related therapies. The training I have had in hypnotherapy exceeds the national occupational standards set for the profession within the UK, and I have additional qualifications in counselling as well as being trained in cognitive behavioural therapy (CBT) and coaching. I am fully insured and also an accredited member of The International Hypnotherapy Association, which is one of the largest independent organisations representing "Professional Hypnotherapists" throughout the UK, and with UKCHO - "keeping hypnotherapy professional”. I am also a member of the UK College of Personal Development and the Association for Coaching.
As a member of The Professional Bodies that I belong to, I make a commitment to undergo regular professional development, training, supervision and academic study. I am in the process of even further study with the UK College of Personal Development, London, and the Hypnosis Motivation Institute, America's first nationally accredited college of hypnotherapy.
I have a lot of experience working one-to-one and with groups. I have run groups for reducing stress and anxiety by using relaxation and visualisation, allowing people to explore concerns, issues and goals in a safe group environment. I have also used my counselling, CBT and Coaching skills in groups as well as for individuals.
